Major League Fishing is the world’s largest tournament fishing organisation and premier outdoor entertainment brand. Neil Engelbrecht the Tournament Director of MLF Namibia says we utilise our tournament fishing platform to share the passions of bass fishing with our fans. Our goal is to entertain, engage, educate and steward for the sport of bass fishing – no matter the format.
MLF Namibia hereby announces the launch of the KING PRICE Team Tournament Trial for 2023 with fishing events scheduled for January, March, April, July, September and December at Lake Oanob and Von Bach dam respectively. These events will carry the biggest payout to the winners yet as guaranteed first place will give the winners NAD10 000 per tournament and the overall winners to qualify to represent Namibia during the 2024 MLF Final event in the USA.
Teams will consist of two senior anglers and with the option to add up to two junior anglers to each team making this the ideal opportunity to get the kids fishing.
Christo van der Merwe of King Prince says that getting involved with Major League Fishing is a very exciting prospect and will allow Namibia acces to and international stage with the top two anglers qualifying to represent Namibia during 2024 in the USA.
